10 IDEE DI ERGONOMIA PER IL POST-COVID

[English version below]

– Smart working e team working in era COVID e post COVID
– Interfacce digitali e co-design nel nuovo mondo always on
– Stress lavoro-correlato e pandemia
– Scuola e università anno zero
– Risk management nelle organizzazioni sanitarie ed emergenza COVID
– Dispositivi di protezione individuale
– Design for All e nuova prossemica negli ambienti di vita e di lavoro
– Teleassistenza sanitaria, socio-sanitaria e di medicina preventiva
– La sfida della sedentarietà
– Robot e vita quotidiana

10 IDEAS OF ERGONOMICS FOR THE POST-COVID

On December 31, 2019, China announced the spread of a “cluster” of atypical viral pneumonia, marking the start of the historical event with the most significant impact on humanity since the Second World War, with personal and collective unprecedented effects.
Beyond the health emergency, which is still underway, more than a year after its onset, the pandemic scenario continues to be an accelerator of processes and irreversible transformations that affect critical issues of our time, concerning interpersonal and social relationships, technology, the environment.
The new normality that the pandemic has generated, rises the urgency of adequate responses to both the new lifestyles needs and old neglected ones, which today become unavoidable, for providing appropriate solutions not only to face the crisis but above all to create the best conditions to manage, on an individual and collective level, the complex reality of which we are part.
The Italian Review of Ergonomics, also in the year 2021, intends to stimulate reflections for addressing some of the most relevant issues that the pandemic has brought out, selecting among these, those for which ergonomics and the human factor can provide a significant contribution, such as the followings.
– Smart working and team working in the COVID and post COVID era
– Digital interfaces and co-design in the new always on world
– Work-related stress and pandemic
– School and university year zero
– Risk management in health organizations and COVID emergency
– Personal protective equipment
– Design for All and new proxemics in living and working environments
– Teleassistance for health, social and health care and preventive medicine
– The challenge of a sedentary lifestyle
– Robots and everyday life
Issues 22 and 23 focus attention on these issues, collecting contributions based on scientific research or professional and design experiences, for defining the role of ergonomics as a useful tool for managing the new normality of the pandemic and post-pandemic era.
